At Curry County Detention Center, we invest in your professional development from day one. Our comprehensive training program equips you with the skills needed to excel in corrections and law enforcement, setting a foundation for your career advancement.
 

Curry County is proud to announce a new collaboration with the Clovis Community College (CCC) to offer a Detention Officer Apprenticeship Program. 
 

This innovative program combines academic instruction with real-world experience in preparation for a career in detention or corrections. Participants will receive:
 

  • Competitive wages while they learn

  • College coursework through Clovis Community College

  • On-the-job training in a real-world detention environment

  • A clear path to full-time employment upon completion
