The Employee will be required to manage the intake, tracking, storage, accountability audits, and disposal of evidence submitted to the Curry County Sheriff’s Office evidence vault. This will include coordinating with the state crime labs and the District Attorney’s office to ensure that evidence is analyzed as needed and is prepared for trial. Will be required to travel outside of Curry County to deliver and pick up evidence as needed. Will be required to prepare destruction/disposal orders for items held in the property and evidence rooms that are no longer needed.
